It’s the stuff of dreams!
Gala Bingocaller Wayne McFarlane just 26 years old is used to using his voice for calling out numbers to all the eager Gala Bingo players! But he also has a penchant for Karaoke, and it was here, at a Karaoke Bar in Wallsend that Wayne was spotted by record producer/talent mogul Dave Turner!
“I couldn’t believe my luck, when [Dave] approached me & said he wanted to sign me to his label…when do things like this happen to regular blokes like me? I work full-time in a bingo hall but every Thursday I go to the Last Orders pub in Wallsend for the karaoke there, it’s just a bit of fun so this is a total dream come true ! Who knows where it will take me or what can happen.”
Dave said: “I just heard this amazing voice which really made me sit up and listen. I approached him when he had finished singing and told him I could help him make a career of his singing !”
Wayne’s debut single “Everyone Wants a Piece of Me” has already launched is available through iTunes and Amazon….let’s hope the title is telling!
