This must surely be the most testing 4 months in Tigers’ life. Back in November 2009 a barrage of infidelity claims (and subsequent admissions of guilt) were exposed by The National Enquirer.
Tiger Woods then suffered a car accident trying to flee his furious wife who had just discovered details of his affair with Rachel Utichel. Since then, it is believed Tiger has been in sex addiction rehab, while Elin his wife has been keeping a low profile.
Yesterday, Tiger Woods made his first public statement, dressed as an apology to his fans, albeit a rather impassive and unemotional address. His speech today was his first public admittance of all his infidelities and errors and said he was sorry. He admitted to living in a "false world" and that celebrity felt like license to break all rules and act as he pleases.
Tiger Woods went on to say he had brought shame to his fans, friends and family and that he would try to amend his behavior. He quoted his wife Elin Woods who believes that "his actions will decide for him". Again, Tiger Woods' speech yesterday again pledged for privacy.
It is believed Tiger Woods has now returned to sex addiction rehabilitation therapy. It is actually unconfirmed whether Woods checked into Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, back in mid-January but numerous sources have suggested this to be the truth.
