Wonder Bingo which first launched in March 2011, got off to a promising start leaving many certain that it’s unique offering would make a notable mark on the
online bingo industry. They described themselves as the Facebook of Bingo and the largest social gaming site. While that does sound cutting-edge and impressive, just over a year later the free app has been forced to cut its losses and join the Gaming Network.
There was a lot of excitement and buzz around Wonder Bingo when it first launched. The bingo app offered many features that couldn’t be found elsewhere. These included a Facebook app which synced with the site. It seems, however, that players didn’t quite feel the same. Wonder Bingo’s move is largely due to a lack of bingo player’s interest in their offering.
Instead of its initial standalone offering, Wonder Bingo will now join other bingo sites such as Astro Bingo, Eyes Down Bingo and Bingonanza. This move won’t affect the quality of its bingo games as it will still run on Parlay Entertainment software.
Players who are currently Wonder Bingo members will still be able to have access to their accounts using their old login details. While on the surface the changes seem minor, they speak to a growing trend in the online bingo industry. It seems that unless a brand can capture players and build a loyal following no amount of innovation will save you.
According to an email sent to Wonder Bingo members, this merger means players can look forward to a host of new bingo rooms and exciting loyalty-based bonuses. The jury is still out on what this move will mean for Wonder Bingo. It seems that only time will tell.
If you’re curious then why not take a peek at this bingo site,
Wonder Bingo , which promised to change the face of online bingo.
